An expert in solar power systems or TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) who will be contracted in “GREENLAND” project.

- SCOPE
This invitation to tender to individuals and TVETs, hereon referred to as the tenderers, to apply for the Solar Power System expert to provide training and mentoring in solar power systems (design, installation, and maintenance) at the following levels:
- 300 trainees on online training
- 70 trainees on lab training
- 10 trainees in 30 days of in-job training
The tenders must include the profile and financial offer. All prices in the offer must be tax exempted.
- TASKS/RESPONSABILITIES/DUTIES
The task of the Solar Power System Expert appointed by PDA, PP1 of the GREENLAND project, is to provide the following missions:
– Determine training needs, criteria, curricula, and schedule training sessions to train experts in solar power systems.
– create 20 lab skills training lectures to be uploaded on the GREENLAND interactive training Platform as Recorded materials (HD Resolution with explanation slides and images) in Arabic and English languages.
– Implement two Onsite Lab training classes, each one for 5-6 days, one in Hermel and another in Baalbek.
– Monitor the trainees’ performance and response to their questions in the following three phases: online training (300 trainees) and onsite training (70 trainees) and internship (10 trainees).
– Conduct daily evaluations to identify areas of improvement.
– Keep attendance and other records.
– Prepare exams and evaluations for the online training.
– Prepare a practical exam and evaluation for the onsite training.
– Provide training classrooms in Hermel and Baalbek.
- REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on sustainability (solar power systems design and installation).
- At least five years of experience in sustainable electrical engineering (design and installation of solar power systems)
- Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
- Proficient in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint);
- Phenomenal communication, presentation and public speaking skills
- Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken
- Experience in technical design and installation of renewable energy/solar systems.
- Experience in capacity building on training on solar systems.
- Good knowledge of local market including rates for solar systems.
- Organizational and time management abilities
- Critical thinking and decision making
Preference will be given to TVETs.
- DURATION
The assignment has a duration of 3 months, starting from the date of stipulation.
- PAYMENT:
The gross fee, including social security and welfare charges, is Euro 11.000,00.
