Project Title: MED-MOBIL – Mobility for Young People in the Mediterranean
General Objective:
To create a framework of cooperation to support future regulations and improve or consolidate programmes and initiatives facilitating the exchange of students, professionals, and young entrepreneurs in the Mediterranean region. The project also piloted 192 short mobilities in the region.
Specific Objectives:
To identify successful EU mobility models; to establish a cross-country framework for youth mobility policy; to open four Mediterranean mobility offices; and to promote youth participation in professional mobility experiences.
Who will benefit?
Students, researchers, professionals, unemployed youth, and young entrepreneurs from the Mediterranean area.
Achieved Results:
Successful EU mobility schemes were identified and adapted. A policy framework for youth mobility was developed. Four MED Mobility Offices were established in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine. A total of 192 mobility experiences were implemented, offering direct opportunities to youth and professionals.
